Campbell to leave TAL CPT

KAREN Campbell, who has spent three years marketing the UK's largest speculative office park development alongside the M8 near Glasgow, has resigned to pursue commercial property interests in London.

Campbell, chief executive of TAL CPT Land Development, the developer behind the 750,000 sq ft Maxim Office Park at Eurocentral, leaves during one of the toughest markets for the commercial property sector.

Apart from Maxim, she has also been responsible for the Central Point Logistics Park, a 450,000 sq ft block in the same development.

The ten buildings at Maxim, on the site of the former Chunghwa Picture Tubes factory, remain largely unoccupied though its backers are confident that it will take off as the overall market improves.

Occupants include asset management consultancy Currie & Brown, workplace solutions provider Regus and a number of companies providing services to tenants.

Campbell will continue in her role for two months before handing over to project director Angus Kennedy.

TAL CPT chairman David Hunter said: "We wish Karen all the best in her relocation to London and take the opportunity to thank her for her efforts at Maxim and Central Point.

"She has been instrumental in achieving an exceptionally high profile for the Park.

"We are in discussion with a number of potential occupiers and I am optimistic that we will shortly be able to announce some major lettings."
