‘Business as usual’ at Colliers International

SENIOR figures at property firm Colliers International yesterday declared it was “business as usual” after the company was bought by an American peer in a pre-pack administration.

The deal, which was first mooted in January, will involve FirstService Corporation taking over the Aim-quoted UK business and the ownership of interests in Ireland and Spain.

FirstService, which already owned 90 per cent of Colliers’ shares before the deal went through, said the management team, led by chief executive Tony Horrell, will stay the same.
