Business news in brief: Scotgold| Tui| Mothercare

Former Scotgold Resources chairman Shane Sadleir has sold 3.9 million shares in the company, meaning he no longer holds a “notifiable interest”.

Sadleir resigned as chairman in April and began selling his 7 per cent holding in the company. He sold five million shares between 17 April and 27 May, leaving him with 9.9 million shares, equivalent to a 4.7 per cent stake.

The latest sale means Sadleir’s holding has been reduced to about six million shares.
