Brooks Macdonald buys Braemar

BROOKS Macdonald, the wealth management firm that recently opened an Edinburgh office, has continued its expansion with the acquisition of Aim-listed investment and property group Braemar.

Brooks opened a Scottish office last year after poaching a high-profile team from Adam & Company.

Chris Macdonald, chief executive of the wealth manager, said Braemar's fund management range and property management business would complement Brooks Macdonald's existing range of funds.
