BrewDog opens first bar in Asian market

SCOTTISH craft beers company BrewDog has opened a bar in Japan, its first foray into Asia.

BrewDog Tokyo is the third overseas bar opened by the Fraserburgh company and brings the total estate to 15.

BrewDog’s other overseas bars are in São Paulo and Stockholm. The 120-capacity Tokyo venue will host 20 beer taps showcasing the BrewDog range, as well as guest beers from around the world.

The group plans to open bars at least six more UK sites in the the next six months. The brewery has won licences in Cardiff and Liverpool.
