Breakthrough for First Call

Specialist home emergency outfit First Call Home Assist has struck a partnership with one of the largest property managers in Europe to offer boiler and central heating cover to thousands of Glasgow homeowners.

The Edinburgh-based firm, which is establishing a UK-wide trade network, described the agreement with YourPlace, part of the Glasgow Housing Association grouping, as a huge boost for the business.

YourPlace aims to provide an efficient management service for owners of factored properties in Glasgow, and First Call’s policies will allow customers to access “exclusive” home emergency cover rates.

Jennifer Russell, YourPlace’s managing director, said: “Our customers told us through surveys that they would like the opportunity to buy boiler and central heating cover through us.”
