Braveheart completes fundraising for fashion firm

Perth-based fund manager Braveheart has completed a £500,000 cash call for online fashion firm Style Passport.

Style-Passport is a women’s online magazine and shop aimed at holiday fashion and beauty tips for travellers.

Braveheart raised the money through its Envestors private investor network, with further money provided by the Angel Co-Fund and other investors.

The £50m Business Angel Co-Investment Fund (Angel Co-Fund) was launched in November 2011 with a grant from the Regional Growth Fund and invests alongside business angel syndicates from across England.

Scott Haughton, a director of Envestors, said: “Style-Passport has a good growth story and we are delighted to have closed this funding with the Angel Co-Fund.

“This is the first occasion we have worked with this new fund which promises so much for the angel community.”
