Manager Juan Santos said: “We are looking for someone who has the drive to run a commercial kitchen and develop a menu and style to compliment the hotel and the beautiful surrounding Scottish landscape.

“This will be an opportunity for professional chefs either looking for a change of lifestyle or an opportunity to develop their career, and carve out a name for themselves at the beautiful Balmacara Hotel.

About the hotel

The hotel, which is under new management and fully re-opened in the summer, offers double, twin and family rooms overlooking the sea and surrounded by the wonderful scenery of the highlands. The stylish redesign features elegant tweed headboards, cosy blankets and sleek dark-panelled wall, making it a warm and welcoming holiday destination for October and November bookings.

The lobby, bar, breakfast room and restaurant have also been given a makeover with a chic modern new interior that feels like a home from home.

Balmacara Hotel’s Sea View Restaurant has received glowing reviews for its excellent fresh local food. It was born from a passion to create a place that people can indulge in authentic dishes from the highlands, in relaxed surroundings.
