Alinda in talks over buying BAA stake
FERROVIAL, the Spanish owner of airports operator BAA, whose sites include Edinburgh and Glasgow, is said to be in talks with Alinda Capital Partners to sell a 10 per cent holding in the British subsidiary.

Alinda, an American infrastructure investor that also owns South Staffordshire Water, is likely to face competition from both pension funds and sovereign wealth groups for the BAA stake, analysts said.
The Competition Commission has ordered BAA to sell either Glasgow or Edinburgh airports to meet competition concerns.
