Hide AdClaire Goose heads the cast of this new ten-part daytime drama following the fortunes of coroner Jane and the deaths – a new one each episode – she has to investigate. Filmed in the West Country, including Torquay, it co-stars fellow Casualty alumnus Matt Bardock as Davey, the local detective sergeant.

NATURE: The Secret History Of The British Garden
Affable Monty Don takes a leisurely stroll through 500 years of garden heritage in this new four-part series. In the first episode he goes back to the 17th century and visits Levens Hall in Cumbria and continues to London’s Hampton Court. He also shows how an aerial photograph taken by the German Luftwaffe in the 1940s revealed a long lost garden.

SPORT: Live Tennis: ATP World Tour Finals
Last year Andy Murray charged around the world to get sufficient points to make the end-of-season World Tour Finals at the O2 in London, only to exit tamely at the hands of Roger Federer. This year he has good form and fitness – making the final of the Paris Masters last weekend – so could do well in the tournament which pits the eight top ranked players in two pools of four. The BBC is showing the afternoon session each day so there should be a good chance of seeing all the leading competitors at some point.
