New wave pioneers Bernard Sumner and company will be playing to a sold-out Glasgow O2 Academy this evening. The Manchester group released their latest album Music Complete back in September, their first new material since 2005, so fans can expect a new direction mixed in with some synth-heavy classics too.

FILM: NTS ENCORE: OF MICE AND MEN
Big production theatre shows have grown into huge business for cinemas over the past few years. Live screenings (and reruns) of performances beamed directly from London’s National Theatre give audiences nationwide the chance to experience top-quality theatre right in front of them. 2014’s production of John Steinbeck’s Of Mice and Men, starring Chris O’Dowd and James Franco, will be projected in cinemas across the country this evening and is bound to attract a different crowd to the local multiplex.
