FILM: WATCH & WOLF: MEAN GIRLS
The Filmhouse teams up with Watch & Wolf for a truly sensory screening of cult classic Mean Girls. The premise behind W&W’s experiential screenings is that the audience eats and drinks along with the drama. Patrons are given a box of numbered foodie samples (and cocktails too) in which they can consume when given the signal at key points in the movie. A cinematic experience like no other.
EVENT: NEU! REEKIE! #XMASKRACKER
Arts collective Neu! Reekie! round off a successful year with their #XmasKracker at Edinburgh’s often overlooked Central Hall. There will be animation, live music, poetry and one-off readings - including a new work from Irvine Welsh.

Following the release of their latest album The Ropewalk (produced by The Strokes guitarist Albert Hammond. Jr) back in September, the band will be bringing a mixture of new sounds and old favourites along with them.

THEATRE: PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT
Based on the hit 90s movie, Priscillla Queen of the Desert pulls the battered bus into the Edinburgh Playhouse this evening. Expect garish costumes, a soundtrack of ‘Boogie Wonderland’ and ‘I Will Survive’ and Jason Donovan as a pantomime dame with a difference.
