When Banff singer-songwriter Sandi Thom heard the news that her latest single Earthquake was snubbed by the BBC Radio 2 playlist, she took to Facebook to vent her frustrations. The two-and-a-half minute video that followed sees an emotional Thom launch into a sweary tirade at the station. “There’s literally no reason why they shouldn’t playlist that song. It’s perfect for their format,” she said.

Apple Store issues
An Apple Store in Melbourne, Australia came under under fire earlier this week after a group of black teenagers were escorted from the premises because they “might steal something”. The incident was caught on video by Francis Ose – one of the six students blocked from entering the technology shop – who uploaded the footage to Facebook and caused a debate about racial profiling.

Who knew there were so many Finding Nemo fans out there? The trailer for Finding Dory, the sequel to Disney Pixar’s fish-based parental odyssey, was posted online three days ago via leading lady Ellen DeGeneres, and has currently racked up over 11 million views.

Irony reworked
James Corden continues his unstoppable rise to the top of the US chat show scene, this time with the assistance of Canadian artist Alanis Morissette. The singer songwriter appeared on Corden’s show to assist in a reworking of her 1995 hit single Ironic, updated with new lines such as “It’s a Snapchat that you wish you had saved / It’s a funny tweet, that nobody faved.”

Hotline Trump
Those with sensitive stomachs may be wise to avoid this last video. Presidential candidate and Scottish golf course owner Donald Trump was the guest host on the latest edition of Saturday Night Live. The 69-year-old took part in a sketch ribbing the dance moves of Toronto rapper Drake in his latest ‘Hotline Bling’ video. If you’re uncomfortable with seeing Donald Trump wiggle, then look away now.
