Video: Game of Thrones series 4 trailer revealed

THE trailer for the new series of fantasy drama Game of Thrones has been revealed online.

The series, based on the novels by George RR Martin, has grown a huge following and garnered critical acclaim from across the globe.

The cast for the fourth series includes Scottish actors Iain Glen, Kate Dickie and Rose Leslie, and some scenes in earlier series were filmed at Doune Castle near Stirling.

The debut trailer for historical fantasy series Outlander, shot on location in Scotland, was also shown for the first time this weekend.

The fourth series of Game of Thrones begins on April 7 on Sky Atlantic.
