Thos Bonnar & Sons employees

John Darcy, now living in Canada, is trying to find out if his former employers, Thos Bonnar & Sons, a painting and decorating company which was based at 58 George Street, is still in business and would like to get in touch with any former employees who worked there between 1947 and 1956, for example Thomas Addison and James Forbes.

Jimmy Whitehead, 78, says: Thomas Bonnar and Sons of 58 George Street, Edinburgh, ceased business between 1960-1970. The John Darcy I knew stayed in Keir Street, Stockbridge - at the time I lived in Cheyne Street, Stockbridge.
