Chris McCausland’s latest hour settles once and for all just how blind he is – blind enough to mistake an undertaker’s for a hair salon but apparently not blind enough to be the blind comedian on a well-known television panel show.
McCausland does not particularly want to play up his disability but it’s fair to say this informs a fair chunk of his sweet, self-deprecating but hit-and-miss set. He is good on the perils of audio-described films but his long-winded argument against the value of the Paralympics founders until he wraps it up with a witty, pithy analogy.
Until 26 August. Today 4.30pm.
