We’ll Meet Again . . . at the Festival Theatre

THE title of the show says it all - We’ll Meet Again. Now in its 11th year on the road, Britain’s favourite ‘Wartime Cavalcade’ heads north once again with a celebration of music from around the time of the Queen’s coronation.

Today, at Musselburgh’s Brunton Theatre, and then next week at Edinburgh’s Festival Theatre, the regular We’ll Meet Again team return with a whole new programme to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. Turning the clock back will be new comedy star Adam Daye, from TV’s Who Do You Do? recalling the radio stars of the period, and international singing star Marilyn Hill Smith, from BBC Friday Night Is Music Night. Smith, who recently toured in The Sound Of Music as the Mother Abbess and will perform a selection of songs made famous by Dame Vera Lynn and Gracie Fields.

Also on the bill are Tony Leyton, with the songs of Bing Crosby and ukulele player Andy Eastwood.
