Still Game show may go Down Under

STILL Game star Ford Kiernan has revealed the show’s spectacular comeback is likely to head Down Under after the “monster” success of the sitcom’s live shows in Glasgow next year.

The Glasgow comic said he and fellow star Greg Hemphill “re-evaluated” their plans to make a new series with the BBC due to the global demand for Still Game.

Kiernan said: “Obviously after the first four live dates sold out, we kept on adding more and more dates on and it’s now grown into an absolute monster.

“We keep having to re-evaluate exactly what it is that we are going to do next. It’s not a decision that lies directly with the BBC. It’s a decision between BBC and Greg and I over where exactly we want to take this thing.”
