Scottish Ballet teams up with dairy to boost health
Scottish Ballet principal dancer Sophie Martin joined Dolly the Jersey cow at a farm at Kippen near Stirling yesterday to launch Graham's The Family Dairy becoming the company's first '˜health sponsor'.
The novel one-year partnership will see the milk firm provide dancers with milk, yogurt and cheese ‘to help keep their bodies in peak condition from studio to stage’. A series of 90-second ‘Ballet Bites’ videos showing exercises to increase strength and flexibility will also be co-produced.
