Review: Frontline theSpace on North Bridge (Venue 36)

While there are some strong moments in this new work by Hull-based Z Theatre Company, their current emphasis is in completely the wrong direction.

Inspired by the emotional hardships endured by soldiers at war and the people they leave behind, Frontline takes a sensitive subject and handles it relatively well.

However, as the moving final scene demonstrates, acting may be well within their grasp, but dancing is definitely not. Sadly, non-verbal movement dominates this show. Time to shift the balance, guys.
