I spent two weeks over the summer in my mum’s chemist shop screwing child caps on medicine bottles.

What has been your most unusual job?

I once dressed up in gingham and flew off on a plastic moon.

My biggest achievement so far has been... playing the role of Meatloaf in the UK tour of We Will Rock You - I’ve loved every moment.

My worst moment ever was... when I got altitude sickness and hypothermia climbing Kilimanjaro.

Three words that sum up my personality are: Curious. Caring. Honest.

Favourite place in the world? Home.

Three places in Edinburgh I could not live without are: Waverley Station. Calton Hill. Armstrong’s.

Who is your best friend? My mum.
