Festival review: Fabled; The Bongo Club (Venue 143)

Lois Tucker has a mammoth task ahead of her – to lip-sync her entire show.

Tucker’s stage presence is engaging and she has an innate sense of timing but her tendency to border on the attention-seeking becomes grating.

As a result of her constant face pulling and head nodding, the actual plot of the production is completely devoid of any sense. I’m still at a loss to see where the skill lies in such a style of performance.
