Black Watch heads back to Scotland

BLACK Watch, the National Theatre of Scotland’s most successful production to date, is set to return to the stage on home turf for the first time in two years.

Gregory Burke’s multi-award winning play, enjoyed by more than 200,000 people around the world since its launch at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe six years ago, will be at the SECC in Glasgow next spring for a two-week run.

Black Watch opened in South Korea last night, and after a hugely successful spell in Chicago, further dates are planned in the United States next year, in Seattle and San Francisco. It recently snapped up four Olivier Awards.
