Teenage thugs attack wheelchair man

A MAN in a wheelchair was punched repeatedly and robbed by two teenagers in a "sickening" unprovoked attack.

The 44-year-old was trying to pass the pair when they assaulted him and made off with some of his belongings, police said yesterday.

The victim was said to be "shaken" by his ordeal, which happened yesterday at around 9.40am in Oxgangs Drive, Edinburgh.

The attackers are described as being white and between 16 and 17 years old.
