Star speaks of night life at awards

CATHERINE Zeta-Jones thanked her film star husband Michael Douglas – who she gets to "sleep with every night" – when she picked up a prize at the Tony Awards.

Jones, 40, won the prize for best lead actress in a musical for her role in A Little Night Music just days after being made a CBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours list.

The star was among a crop of British winners at the prestigious awards, including playwright Alan Ayckbourn, theatre director and producer Michael Grandage and actor Douglas Hodge.

"See that man there?" Jones said, pointing to Michael Douglas. "He's a movie star and I get to sleep with him every night."
