Scotsman publications up for 20 Press Awards

THE Scotsman’s front page the day after Sir Chris Hoy was crowned Britain’s greatest ever Olympian is in the running for a major honour at the Scottish Press Awards.

The “Best of the Best” will contest the front page of the year category, along with “Revenge of the Trams”, the front page of the Edinburgh Evening News the day after Edinburgh City Council leader Jenny Dawe was toppled from power.

They are just two of the 20 nominations secured by Scotsman Publications titles in the awards, which will be held in Glasgow next month.
