Rebus bar

Bob Weir has a TV-related query:I recently saw an Inspector Rebus TV episode. In the books his local is the Oxford Bar but that is not the one in the TV show. It does not look like any pub I have been into in Edinburgh. Does anyone know the name and location of the pub in the TV show?

David Thomson says: "On the question of the bar(s) used in the filming if Rebus, Ross's Bar in Henderson Street was used during the making of Rebus. I believe during the filming the locals were accomodated in the lounge bar ."
