Expect a true hip hop experience with live performances, guest DJs and a great crowd that are so down with keeping it real, you’d swear you just saw Keith Cowboy stroll through the door.

Expect classics old and new, remixed and re-rubbed all the way to the underground.

If your looking for a relaxed vibe and somewhere with flava’ there’s no better in the Burgh.

Edinburgh hip hop star Capitol 1212, aka Fly T, headlines the night with a bag of fresh new rhymes.

Bongo Club, Holyrood Road, tomorrow, 11pm-3am, £4, 0131-558 7604

This Saturday, however, they forsake their regular Monday slot as the union officials take over Cab Vol.

Residents Wolfjazz and Beefy’s music policy is wide open, as Wolfjazz says, “For Monday nights, diversity is the key. We play a wide range of music so that everyone feels they are a part of the night.”

REWIND

DJ MICK, Shuggy Bear and Stevie C mix up the finest blend of cheddar this side of Edam. These guys could even have John Travolta strutting his stuff, whipping up a real Saturday night fever. I suppose when you’ve got it, you’ve got it, and you’ll get everything at Rewind from Abba to Gaga, and a whole lot more in-between.

Rewind takes you on a journey back to the 70s, 80s, 90s and noughties, so expect a good fun night out for everyone and rewind back to a time when shoulder pads and slip on shoes were all the rage... look around,.. they still are.
