Temple

Weekly student night focuses on great music and fun themes. Spread over three floors, DJ Dooli heads up the main room playing house & electro anthems. DJ Dansco & Beef play out of the funk room include hip hop & R ‘n’ B, while DJ Sparky serves up 80’s, 90’s & noughties in the old school room. Juice Pres. Darq E Freaker

Carl Dupree (Phuture Sole Records NYC)

Carl Dupree is the founder of Phuture sole records, a label which focuses on quality soulful house. Jackhammer Pres. Radio Nasty (Billy Nasty v Radioactive Man)

Billy Nasty is one of the best DJs out there. He created the very first ‘Journey’s By DJ’ mix CD around about the same time Sasha and Digweed released the ‘Renaissance’ Mix CD. His impeccable mixing and tune selection is almost a psychic experience. His two techno labels ‘Tortured’ and ‘Electrix’ output some of the best underground techno releases to date. His co-producer Radioactive Man are ‘Radio Nasty’ and together they create dark, atmospheric techno with depth and vintage. These two are in town to battle so expect great things. Fly Club - Eclair Fifi (Luckyme)

Éclair Fifi aka Clair Stirling has become an increasingly popular DJ. Like many female DJs, she lacks the ego of her male counter-parts, instead focuses on the audience and having a good time. Her sets are careful music selections that are woven together form a fantastic tapestry of sound, colourful and busy having fun. She uncovers a lot in the process, from Italo-disco to deep vocal house or thoughtful Detroit techno, bass rumbling r’n’b and jacking electro. Stirling is one of the freshest DJs to come out of Glasgow… we’d go so far to suggest that if it was time to freshen up Radio One’s Prime Time dance slot, we’d not grumble if Miss Éclair was in the driving seat. #Notsosilent w/ Joy Orbison & Roman Flugel

Joy Orbison (real name Peter O’Grady) burst on to the scene in 2009 with “Hyph Mngo”. An immediate follow up was expected but never happened - at least, not for a while. Orbison took his time and it was time well spent. What came after was hit after hit and his remix work has bettered the original versions – as in Lana Del Ray’s “Video Games”. Likewise, his sets are marvellous - he’s joined by German producer, Roman Flugel for a night of bleeping house, quirky techno, futuristic Italo-disco and bass throbbing electronica. Heavy Gossip & Ultragroove vs Young Team

Phil Kearny joins Gareth Sommerville and Laurence Nolan for a night of the deepest groove crossing three genres - house, techno and disco. DJ duo Joe Burns and Nick Deas are ‘Young Team’ best known for their local radio show ‘Fresh Air Radio’. The two crews go head to head in the most respected underground house night in the burgh. Propaganda Edinburgh does the Harlem Shake

Edinburgh’s biggest indie night features new and classic indie music courtesy of the Propaganda DJs - veterans of the festival circuit.
