My Prefect Weekend: Emily Young

1 Who would be your ideal weekend companion and why?

Ideally, Colin Firth, but if we are being realistic, I would have to say one of my oldest mates, Victoria. She’s been working hard on her PhD and, due to our clashing diaries, I don’t get to see her as much I used to. A girlie weekend is long overdue.

2 Where would you take them and why?

I think a trip to the zoo would be in order, to meet the new pandas, followed by some retail therapy.

3 Where would you go for breakfast, lunch and dinner?

For breakfast, a quick bite to eat in Chocolate Soup (with a hot chocolate of course), lunch in The Hub’s café and dinner in Cucina – amazing Italian food.

4 What item would you not be without?

My credit card – this sounds like it’s adding up to an expensive weekend!

5 How would your perfect weekend finish?

After dinner cocktails in Hotel Missoni and if we still have energy after our busy day of fun, catching a band in Cabaret Voltaire to round things off.
