2 Where would you take him in Edinburgh? We have so many amazing free museums and galleries, the National Museum of Scotland being a particular favourite.
No visit would be compete without a windy walk up Arthur’s Seat followed by a well deserved pint at The Sheep’s Heid Inn, depending on the weather, of course!
3 Where would you go for breakfast, lunch and dinner? Breakfast at Montpelliers in Bruntsfield. I like to grab the sofas by the window and spread the newspapers out.
They do their breakfast menu until 6pm so it’s great for a late brunch after a late night in Bar Missoni.
For lunch, I’d head down to The Shore and hit The King’s Wark. I really like the cosy atmosphere with the open fire and the food is always great.
Dinner would be at Timberyard – I think it’s a really unique venue within Edinburgh.
They have got a good ethos of local and sustainable produce – and the cocktails are pretty good there, too!
4 What one item would you not be without? I’m renovating my flat at the moment so sadly couldn’t live without my toolbox.
5 How would your perfect weekend finish? It would have to be cocktails at Bramble and chaos at Garibaldi’s.
