1 Who would be your ideal weekend companion and why?

Scottish actor and Hollywood star Brian Cox. I met him earlier this week as he is the ambassador for our charity. He’s fascinating and fun.

2 Where would you take them in Edinburgh?

I would play tour guide, starting with an Edinburgh bus tour to the palace, finishing up at the Scotch Malt Whisky Society, in Queen Street.

3 Where would you go for breakfast/lunch/dinner?

Breakfast at the Olive Branch, in Broughton Street, as it’s delicious and healthy. The Outsider, on George IV Bridge, for lunch and then the new sushi restaurant in Grindlay Street, KanPai – it is to die for.

4 What one item would you not be without?

My camera, I love capturing special moments.

5 How would your perfect weekend finish?

Enjoying a good bottle of Merlot and a cheeseboard with my lovely boyfriend at Under the Stairs, in Merchant Street.
