Megan Airlie is a talented singer-songwriter from East Kilbride. We first saw her perform at XpoNorth and were immediately captivated by her impressive voice and individual sound. She has gained support from Nicola Meighan on BBC Radio Scotland, Hoxton Radio, The Line of Best Fit, Earmilk and Songwriting Magazine, and we expect this to continue following the release on Friday of her excellent new single Mother Whale on Bloc Music Records.

On Thursday she performs at the Scottish Album of the Year Awards ceremony at Paisley Town Hall alongside Under The Radar favourites Declan Welsh & The Decadent West, as well as Hairband and Erland Cooper. The following day sees her play a fund-raiser at Broadcast in Glasgow, and she plays Glasgow’s Hug & Pint on Saturday. For more information visit www.facebook.com/meganairliemusic
