John Entwhistle of The Who’s Rolls-Royce for sale

A RARE Rolls-Royce, customised by legendary rocker John Entwistle of The Who to accommodate his pack of Irish wolfhounds, is up for grabs.

The “stretch” Silver Shadow, which has been in service on a Perthshire grouse shooting estate, is expected to fetch around £16,000.

Away from his notorious rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle, Entwistle lived in an English country mansion and had the 1980 Roller customised for his large pack of wolfhounds.

After his tragic death in Las Vegas in 2002 from a cocaine-induced heart attack, his beloved car was sold to a Scottish laird by his family.

Now it is set to go under the hammer at Bonhams next month.

The Rolls, resprayed brown, has a 6,750cc V8 engine, cream leather upholstery and a mahogany steering wheel.
