Head to the Royal Botanic Garden tomorrow to learn from the experts everything you need to know about tree safety and health.

Join arboretum super- visor Martyn Dickson for the day, exploring the Botanics' tree collection as he explains how to read the subtle signs that trees give us as to their health.

If the coast is more your thing, find out more about the billions of tiny plants and animals that drift in the world's oceans at a one-off exhibition at the Scottish Seabird Centre in North Berwick.

The Floating Zoo includes stunning images captured by marine expert Richard Kirby, allowing us to get closer to and discover the importance of miniature ocean life.

The exhibition runs until Thursday and is free with entry to the centre (7.15/4.05).
