Frost's fate finally revealed to viewers

VIEWERS discovered the fate of world-weary detective Jack Frost last night as Sir David Jason bowed out of the role in the show's last episode.

Two separate endings had been filmed for the show, with viewers being kept in suspense as the last story ran over two nights. Fans will be able to see the unused ending on ITV.com.
