The company’s engineering director, Kenny Dickson, who formerly served in the Armed Forces, welcomed the inclusion.

He said: “Poppies are symbols of remembrance for those who died in the war. By fitting poppies to each of our buses, and to the front of our new Caledonia depot, we are supporting our employees and customers in their remembrance.

“Poppies are a visible reminder of the sacrifices made by those who gave their lives through war. As an ex-serviceman myself I recognise the importance of remembering all those who have served in the armed forces.”
