Finishing touches put on The Kelpies sculpture
Workers have put the finishing touches to Scotland’s tallest works of art, and the world’s largest equine sculpture – The Kelpies, by Andy Scott.
The giant horse heads are situated beside the M9 motorway, near Falkirk. Another equine piece by Glasgow-based Scott, The Heavy Horse, can be seen on the M8 motorway, and a ten-foot version of The Kelpies was on display as part of the Chigaco Sculpture International Exhibition.
