Wasn’t the last Men in Black film ten years ago?

Yes it was, but that’s no obstacle these days – Indiana Jones And The Kingdom of The Crystal Skull was released almost 20 years after its previous instalment – Ghostbusters 3 will be too, if it’s ever made. A decade is a mere blip in comparison.

What’s the story?

This one adds a time travel twist, Will Smith returning to the past, Back to the Future style, to prevent the death of his partner Tommy Lee Jones – played in his youth by Josh Brolin.

Will it be any good?

Hard to tell. The trailer seems a little anxious that we’ve forgotten who the Men in Black are (secret immigration officials whose job is to stop aliens illegally visiting Earth, in case you have) and spends half of its two-minute running time reminding us. But Smith’s easy-going charm appears to be intact, Jones is as loveably gruff as ever, and Brolin seems perfectly cast as the young Jones, instantly identifiable with just one line of dialogue.
