Danny Boyle reveals reason he had to ditch James Bond

Danny Boyle has revealed why he felt he had to turn his back on directing the next James Bond film, stating that writers are as important as its leading stars for him.

The Trainspotting director, 62, was due to direct the next James Bond film, currently titled Bond 25, but announced his departure from the project last year, citing "creative differences".
