Dancing on Ice star all set for Girls’ Day out

Dancing on Ice judge Louie Spence cosied up to three half-naked men as he officially opened an event designed specially for women.

The Pineapple Dance Studios star said he was looking forward to indulging himself with a host of beauty treatments, including a spray tan and false lashes, at the Girls’ Day Out in Glasgow.

Thousands of women are expected to pour into the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC) for the event this weekend to be pampered with massages, manicures and cocktails. Spence said “girl time” is very important.

He added: “I’m from a big girls’ household. I’ve got three sisters and my mum, so my house was very dominated by girls and it’s really important that they have their time together to do the things they love.

“I think it’s such a good concept, these shows, where you have everything under one roof.

“I’ve booked myself into everything I can get. Literally, I’m going to leave here looking about ten, I’m going to look like a different person.

“I’m going to have nails, I’m going to have lashes, I’m going to have white teeth and I’m going to have a spray tan.

“Then I’m going to be massaged and have a couple of glasses of champagne. I am going to try everything here – that’s the whole point.”

Spence said he would love to return to the next series of Dancing on Ice, but that he will have to wait to be asked by producers.

Emmerdale actor Matthew Wolfenden and his partner Nina Ulanova won the skating competition last month.

Spence said: “We haven’t spoken about Dancing on Ice yet with ITV. Nothing has been negotiated as yet. I would love to do it. We just have to wait for them to contact us again. It’s not until next year.”
