Bid to rename Edinburgh University building after Bake Off winner Peter
Peter Sawkins, 20, became both the youngest person to win the Great British Bake Off and also the first Scot, on Tuesday night.
The finance and accounting student, who made gingerbread with haggis, and a cake version of cycling legend Chris Hoy, won viewer's hearts - as well as those of fellow uni students.

It said: "With everything going on in the world at the moment one thing that has excited and brought the nation together is Bake Off on a Tuesday night.
"For those living in Scotland and Edinburgh seeing Peter win star baker on the first week was amazing.
"As much as we wanted him to win and dared to dream, the excitement when his name was announced as winner was unrivalled.
"Tears of joy and a feeling of joy. This is why we believe it is only right that Peter gets recognised for this.
"At Edinburgh University buildings are named after influential people from the university.
