My thoughts continue to be with those affected by Friday night’s tragic Helicopter crash in Glasgow. This was my tribute to all those invloved, posted on Saturday.

“St Andrews Day today, but Saltires across the country will be flying at half mast as a mark of respect for those affected by the helicopter crash in Glasgow.

Like so many I have been unable to think of much else in the last 24 hours as the news has been getting progressively worse throughout the day. At the most recent statement, eight lives were lost when a police helicopter crashed onto the roof of the Clutha Pub in Glasgow’s city centre.

My thoughts are with the families and friends of those involved. God bless everyone.

Police Scotland Casualty Bureau number is 0800 092 0410 - for those concerned about relatives.”
