The Glasgow show by Harris on Sunday 30 August has been confirmed just a day after folk-rock icons Mumford & Sons confirmed they would be headlining their own two-day festival in the Highlands this summer.
Harris had been due to be perform at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Glasgow last November but had to pull out at the eleventh hour due to ill health.
Geoff Ellis, chief executive of DF Concerts, said: “Following on from his incredibly memorable headline performance at last year’s T in the Park, this will be Calvin’s first headline appearance at an outdoor show in Scotland.
“He has toured the world playing his chart-topping tracks, so this will be an incredible gig that shouldn’t be missed.”
Tickets for the Calvin Harris show at Bellahouston go on sale on Friday.
