Blade Runner sequel mooted by Harrison Ford
The original movie was a sleeper hit which had a lukewarm reception when it came out in 1982 but went on to gain popularity, and has had an enduring appeal for movie fans.
During a visit to London, the US star confirmed to games and entertainment website IGN.com that he had been in discussion about a second film.

Hide AdIt was disclosed earlier in the year that Scott was keen to develop a sequel and screenwriter Michael Green had been hired to work on the script.
Ford played Rick Deckard, who tracked down robots known as replicants in the sci-fi thriller, which was based on short story Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep?.
While promoting his new film Ender’s Game, Ford admitted he had been in contact with Scott and said: “Yes, we’ve been chatting about it.”
The 71-year old actor added: “I truly admire Ridley as a man and as a director, and I would be very happy to engage again with him in the further telling of this story.”
