Art in the frame at talk

A FREE lecture discussing the work of 15th century artist Sandro Botticelli is to be held in the Capital.

"Beauty and Devotion" will look at Botticelli's religious images, such as The Virgin Adoring the Sleeping Christ Child in the National Gallery of Scotland. Art historian Michael Bury's lecture is on Tuesday at 12:45pm at the Hawthornden Lecture Theatre in the National Gallery complex.
