Art club show defies thieves

A CITY art club whose exhibition was targeted by thieves is set to hold a new show.

Blackhall St Columba's Art Club is set to host a preview of its exhibition and sale in the small hall of Blackhall St Columba's Church on 4 May.

A third of the sale of paintings will go the club's chosen charity for this year, the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.

Thieves made off with four paintings by club members while they were on display at Blackhall Library in January.
