70,000 visitors to Mary, Queen of Scots exhibition
Over 70,000 visitors have taken in the exhibition of major pieces from across the UK and Europe since its opening in June.
The museum stands on the site where Mary’s husband Lord Darnley was killed, and a 16th-century depiction of the Chambers Street site is included in the display.

Mary, Queen of Scots closes on Sunday, following a discussion of depictions of Mary in art, and of the new computer-generated images of Mary, Queen of Scots revealed in the exhibition.
