Edinburgh have been forced into two late changes ahead of their 1872 Cup match against Glasgow Warriors at Scotstoun.

The capital club said that both Ben Toolis and Jack Blain had failed “pre-departure fitness tests”.

Jamie Hodgson has been promoted from the bench to take the place of Toolis in the second row, with Nick Haining named as a new replacement.

Jamie Farndale comes into the side on the right wing to replace Blain.

This is the second game of the three-match series. Edinburgh won the first leg 10-7 at BT Murrayfield on January 2.

Today’s game kicks off at 5.15pm.
