Oktoberfest first for Edinburgh
BEER girl Lisa Shepley launches the first Edinburgh Oktoberfest beer festival in a tent in Princes Street Gardens.
German beer, food, music and waitresses and waiters dressed in dirndl and lederhosen are all part of the event, which runs until Sunday 13 October.
